Hydro Phil

Hybrid - resin-art design & channels

“A hydrophilic molecule is one whose interactions with water and other polar substances are more thermodynamically favorable”. And that’s basically what Philly does.

Single to double concave on the bottom, smooth outline, narrowed in through the wingers leading into the diamond squashtail. The left out planning surface in the tail is compensated with a wide channel starting with the rear fins giving that extra lift and speed. This allows you to surf Phil about 1-2 Inch shorter than your regular shortboard.

RIVER – On river waves the shape is made for a more ocean-inspired approach with loads of speed and grip in the tail. Perfectly suited for ambitious intermediates and advanced rapid surfers in strong artificial riverwaves or wave pools. All sizes up to 5.8″ lengths boast our stable “triple rail layer” technology.

"The Hydrophil is great - just the perfect board for my surf style. It's fast, it's agile and got loads of pop. So happy!"
