I’m currently living in Hamburg where I’m working towards completing my electrical apprenticeship, but I grew up in Tonga until I was 15 and then moved and lived in New Zealand for 4 years.
I started surfing in Tonga when I was very young – around 2 or 3 years old. I grew up on the beach of my family’s surf resort, where my grandpa would catch small waves with me in front of his longboard.
I have a lot of favourite spots but I’ll give some of my top ones. One of them would be a spot in Tonga, which only works in the summer months, so I was always looking forward to that time of the year. Second would be a spot in New Zealand’s “Far North” in Ahipara, where I’ve caught my longest waves ever.
I wish I could have taught more friends how to surf in Tonga. It sometimes was hard being the only surfer getting shacked all day and not being able to share! (Note: I’m not complaining.)
Indo for sure! Really want to go one day soon, hopefully.
Working, eating, sleeping.
I pretty much only surf. I can do other board sports too but I don’t do them very often.
Any seafood or chicken of some sort.
Pigdogging
I’m too tired.
Give me an ironing board and I’ll surf it, but if I had to choose I’d say right now I really dig the Playground 5’10 and Fish’n Chixx.
