ORDERS

Orders can be placed online or by telephone. Please always include your name and address as well as your telephone number for queries. If available, please also include your customer number. If the delivery address differs from your home address, please note this clearly. If you have any questions, our expert staff will be happy to assist you.

 

DELIVERY WITHIN GERMANY

The shipping is done by UPS. The shipping costs for deliveries within Germany are 15 EUR for boards, individually ordered small parts up to 3 kg cost 5 EUR. There are no additional freight charges for subsequent deliveries. Articles to be delivered subsequently will be automatically forwarded to you after arrival in our warehouse. Delivery times of UPS are Monday to Friday 8-18 o’clock. In exceptional cases, delivery can also be made on Saturdays for a surcharge of 14 EUR.

The standard delivery time for deliverable items is two working days, express deliveries are delivered on the following working day until 12 o’clock. The first delivery attempt will be made without prior notice. Should the driver not be able to meet you, he will leave a notification. There are three delivery attempts in total.

 

PAYMENT

The indicated prices are in EURO, include the legal value added tax and do not include any shipping costs. When ordering you can choose between payment by credit card, Paypal, cash on delivery or direct debit.

By direct debit: Payment by direct debit is only possible with a German bank account.

By prepayment: You will receive a proforma invoice from us by e-mail. After receipt of money on our account the goods will be shipped immediately.

Cash on delivery: Cash on delivery payments are collected by UPS in cash directly upon delivery.

The cash on delivery fee is 5 EUR.

By credit card: When paying by credit card (VISA or Mastercard), please state the card number, the card’s expiry date, the cardholder and the card verification number when placing your order.

 

RETURNS

If you would like to exchange an item, KANOA will cover the costs of return transport within Germany. For bulky goods such as boards please make use of our return service. A short call to us is enough and we will take care of the return of the goods. Please send back small return packages sufficiently stamped by mail to us. We will reimburse you the postage by refund or credit note. Please do not send unstamped packages, these will not be accepted. The goods must be returned unused, free of damage and in the original packaging. A return slip is included with each shipment or can be downloaded from our website. For new shipments we charge our normal freight flat rate.

SHIPPING ABROAD

Under the “item shipping costs” on our website you will find the flat rates for the respective delivery country. If you want us to send the goods to a country not listed, please contact us to find out the exact freight costs.

The goods are shipped by UPS or forwarding agency. Return shipments are at the expense of the customer. Foreign shipments can be paid by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or prepayment (transfer to our account after receipt of a proforma invoice). Payment by cash on delivery is possible within the EU (except Greece and the new EU countries), in Norway and Switzerland. The additional charge for cash on delivery payment abroad is a flat rate of 15 EUR. Value added tax Refund: For customers from non-EU countries, German VAT will be deducted directly from the invoice amount. Please note the customs regulations of your country.

 

RIGHT OF REFUSAL

You have the right to cancel the purchase within fourteen days without giving reasons.

The revocation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took or has taken possession of the last goods.

In order to exercise your right of revocation, you must inform us, Gun Sails v. Osterhausen GmbH, Johannstr. 45, 66131 Saarbrücken, E-Mail: aloha@kanoa-surfboards.com, Tel.: +49 6893 987522, by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter, fax or e-mail sent by post) of your decision to revoke this purchase contract.

In order to comply with the revocation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of revocation before the end of the revocation period.

 

Consequences of revocation

If you revoke the purchase agreement, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a different type of delivery from the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), immediately and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we receive notification of your revocation of this agreement. For this refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. Under no circumstances will you be charged for this refund. We may refuse to refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any event no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us of the cancellation of this agreement. This period shall be deemed to have been observed if you dispatch the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods. The costs are estimated at a maximum of 25 EUR.

You will only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functioning.

 

Revocation by returning the goods

You can also conclude the contract, as usual, by simply returning the goods to: Gun Sails v. Osterhausen GmbH, Johannstr. 45, 66131 Saarbrücken. If you return the goods to us within the legal revocation period without any explanation, we will consider this as a revocation of the contract.

COMPLAINTS / TRANSPORT DAMAGE

Should there be a problem with one of the products we supply, please contact our hotline immediately. We will of course be pleased to help you. Please check the shipment immediately upon receipt for completeness and intactness. If the parcel is damaged, please make a complaint immediately to the deliverer. In this case please also contact us. Subsequent complaints can unfortunately not be accepted.

 

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (OS). This gives consumers the opportunity to resolve disputes in connection with their online order without the need to go to court. The platform can be accessed via the external link http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.

 

 

CHANGES

We reserve the right to carry out technical changes, which serve to improve the product and quality, without prior notice.

 

Use of your data

During data processing, your interests worthy of protection are always taken into account in accordance with the statutory provisions. We process your personal data for order processing and in this context we also transmit them to third parties, e.g. delivery companies, if necessary. Furthermore, we use your address and order data for our own marketing purposes. This may also include the use of address data in the legally permitted manner for postal advertising purposes (excluding telephone or e-mail advertising) by our trustworthy partners. You may object to the use, processing or transmission of your data for marketing purposes at any time by sending an informal written notice to KANOA Surfboards, Service, Johannstr. 45, 66131 Saarbrücken or by e-mail to: aloha@kanoa-surfboards.com contradict. After receipt of your objection, we will stop sending you further advertising material including our catalogues.
