Orders can only be placed online. Please enter your phone number for queries – this can be particularly relevant for shipping questions such as shipping abroad. If you have any questions, our knowledgeable staff will be happy to assist you via email or chat. If you would like to have a telephone consultation, we can arrange an appointment via chat or e-mail.

There are no additional freight charges for subsequent deliveries. If, in exceptional cases, products from your order are not available at that time, items to be delivered later will be automatically forwarded to you upon arrival in our warehouse. 

The standard shipping time for immediately available items is two business days for orders placed before 17:00. When shipping via UPS: The first delivery attempt is made without notice. If the driver does not meet you, he/she will leave a notification. There are three delivery attempts in total. Delivery times are Monday to Friday 8-18 o’clock. In exceptional cases we can also deliver on Saturdays for an extra charge of 14 Euro.

Under the shipping costs section on our website you will find the flat rates for the respective country of delivery. If you want us to send the goods to a country that is not listed, please contact us to find out the exact freight costs.

Shipping is done by UPS or freight forwarding. Return shipments are at the customer’s expense. Cash on delivery payment is possible within the EU (except Greece and new EU countries), Norway and Switzerland. The surcharge for cash on delivery payment abroad is a flat rate of 15 EUR. 

VAT refund: For customers from non-EU countries, German VAT will be deducted directly from the invoice amount. Please note the customs regulations of your country.

All indicated prices are in EURO, include VAT (excluding Switzerland) and do not include shipping costs. With your order you can choose between payment by credit card, Paypal, SOFORT Überweisung, SEPA Lastschrift, GIROPAY, cash on delivery or direct debit.

By direct debit: Payment by direct debit is only possible with a German bank account.

By prepayment: You will receive a proforma invoice by email. After receipt of money on our account the goods will be shipped immediately.

Cash on delivery: Cash on delivery payments are collected in cash by our logistics service provider directly upon delivery. The cash on delivery fee is 5 EUR (international: 15 EUR).

By credit card: When paying by credit card (VISA or Mastercard), please indicate the card number, the expiration date of the card, the card holder and the card verification number in your order.



If you wish to exchange an item, KANOA Surfboards will cover the cost of return shipping within Germany. The costs for returns from customers outside Germany are to be paid by the sender. The goods must be returned unused, free of damage and in the original packaging. 

For bulky goods like boards please make use of our return service. Just contact the service and we will take care of the return of the goods. 

You can print out a return label for small shipments via our DHL portal. Please do not send unfree packages, they will not be accepted. 

A return label (from Gunsails GmbH) can be downloaded from our website. We will charge our normal flat rate freight for reshipping the exchanged product.

You have the right to cancel the purchase within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.

The revocation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.

In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, KANOA Surfboards as part of Gun Sails v. Osterhausen GmbH, Johannstr. 45, 66131 Saarbrücken, e-mail: aloha@kanoa-surfboards.com, by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter or e-mail sent by post) of your decision to withdraw from this purchase contract in due time.

To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notice of exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

If you cancel the purchase contract, we will reimburse you all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no case will you be charged for this repayment. We may withhold the repayment until we have received the goods back and have been able to check them.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the deadline of fourteen days.

You must pay for any loss in value of the goods only if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for testing the quality, characteristics and functioning of the goods.



You can also cancel the contract by simply returning the goods to: Gun Sails v. Osterhausen GmbH, Johannstr. 45, 66131 Saarbrücken, Germany. If you return the goods to us within the legal revocation period without any explanation, we will consider this as a revocation of the contract.

If there is a problem with a product delivered by one of our logistics service providers or freight forwarders, please contact our service department immediately. We will be happy to help you. Please check the shipment immediately upon receipt for completeness and integrity. If the package is damaged, please complain immediately to the delivery person and record this in writing on the receipt or digital device (e.g. together with your signature). In this case, please also contact us. Subsequent complaints can unfortunately not be accepted.

We reserve the right to carry out technical changes, which serve to improve the product and quality, without prior notice.



Your interests worthy of protection are always taken into account during data processing in accordance with the statutory provisions. We process your personal data for the purpose of order processing and, where necessary, also transfer it to third parties, e.g. delivery companies. Furthermore, we use your address and order data for our own marketing purposes. This may also include the use of address data in the legally permitted manner for postal advertising purposes (excluded are telephone or e-mail advertising) by our trusted partners.
