Yummy, this sounds like your favourite dish. The Fish’n Chipz is derived from Spider Murphy’s famous 70’s Fish formed into a modern fish shape without compromises.

You will be able to paddle into a lot of waves, clear flatter sections and prepare smooth turns. You can surf it about 2 inches shorter than your regular shortboard.

The Fish'n Chipz also performs amazingly well on river waves, especially on the weaker ones.

ALL NEW DESIGN LINE - This beloved KANOA model has been refined and fine-tuned with Spider’s latest shaping insights, allowing for that extra in speed, float, and agility. Built on a new high-density (HD) blank, it offers improved resistance to pressure dents while enhancing durability and responsiveness.

Construction

PU Construction

Based on polyurethane foam, bonded to a plywood stringer with a 6/4+6 oz polyester glassing. The classic in ocean surfboard construction, resulting in a great mix of performance and durability.

Shaped by Spider Murphy

Shaped and designed by the south african shapers legend Spider Murphy, drawing on more than 55 years of shaping experience. Having crafted boards for several world champions and played an active role in the evolution of modern surfboard design, Spider brings a rare level of expertise and insight to the range.

Modern Fish – Combining Fish Agility with Shortboard Performance

UP&COMER – This board will help you paddle into more waves and progress your surfing faster. It features a wider bull nose with a touch of vee to hide volume and increase your paddle speed. The low entry rocker helps to catch waves with more ease.

INTERMEDIATE – PRO – You can surf it about 2 inches shorter than your regular shortboard. Smooth turns, clearing flat sections and catching every damn wave are the Fish’n Chixx strong suits. These characteristics don’t interfere with its ability to rip some fishy turns once the swell is right.

RIVER WAVES – The sizes up to 5’8 perform amazingly on river waves, especially on the weaker ones due to the low entry rocker. That’s why we equipped those sizes with our triple rail layer glassing to make them extra tough.

Concave

CLASSIC SINGLE TO DOUBLE

A classic single-to-double concave creates lift and speed through the center of the board while allowing the tail to roll more naturally from rail to rail. The result is a fast, lively feel with added precision and control in turns.

Rockerline
