Battery

Allround Performance Shortboard

Hollow beach brakes, points and reefs are the Battery’s capacities, put in a scale from 3-7 foot. Volume hidden under your chest and a little vee in the nose help to catch bigger waves early. With deep single to double concaves the Battery creates huge amounts of speed and also loads up in smaller conditions, if you treat it right. The more aggressive rocker line allows quick and vertical manoeuvres and makes it feel at home in those hollow and more powerful brakes. If you are looking for that classic performance shortboard, with a touch of paddle friendliness the Battery should be your weapon of choice.

RIVER – The Battery if perfectly suited for ambitious intermediates and advanced rapid surfers in strong artificial riverwaves or wave pools. All sizes up to 5.8″ lengths boast our stable “triple rail layer” technology and an adapted slightly smaller tail, optimized for wave pool sessions.

"The Battery is fast and agile but also easy to paddle. And it is an absolutely good wave catcher. I ride it in almost any conditions from fast beach-breaks barrels to small baltic sea waves!! I ride it as a thruster with the KANOA Honey-carbon Fins. I recommend the 5'4 for Kids who are already into shortboarding or the 5'6 for Kids who want to start with shortboards."
